MAKE IT SMALL WITH INPRINT!

Join us for a magical weekend of making art in miniature! We'll make three projects together, perfect as handmade gifts to your loved ones, or even just to add to your own collection of art.

This weekend will focus on three techniques including cyanotype, bookbinding as well as relief printing onto shrink film. Learn how to set up a portable cyanotype station to keep making blueprints all year long; make a miniature hardcover book that you can keep as an ornament or necklace or for your tiniest of libraries; get a quick lesson on relief print that you will print onto shrink film to create accessories/key chains/whatever you like!

All materials are included with class fee.  Suitable for older teens and adults.

Mindful Monoprint: Pochoir Stenciling
Saturday, Jan 24, 2026
11am to 2pm
$60

Toronto, On

Join inPrint for a session of mindful art-making. Perfect for creatives of any experience level, the focus of this workshop will be to create an image using pre-made stencils and soft/chalk pastels, otherwise known as pochoir. Classically used to fill in colour for etchings and relief prints, we will use this method on it's own to develop our art.
Students will be invited to create in a relaxed enviroment, with a focus on mindful image creation, and less on rigid technique - this means no drawing (or printmaking) experience needed! We will discuss two methods of composition-building, be invited to play with colour in imaginative ways, and build up our images from stencils in fantasical ways.

All materials included in the class fee. Suitable for older teens and adults.

February Art Night – Print It Small: Drypoint Etching with Tetrapacks

Check out more information about this month’s workshop and artist below!
When: Thursday, February 26, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Where: Arts Etobicoke Storefront Gallery, 4893a Dundas Street West
Cost: $65 +HST (all supplies and refreshments included )
Ages 16+
REGISTER HERE

Tickets are $65 per participant, refreshments and art supplies included. Proceeds from the event tickets go directly back to the community, so we can continue to offer free and accessible arts programs to all Etobians.

Learn the art of drypoint using sustainable, everyday materials! Traditionally a medium in which lines are scratched into metal surfaces to create a printable image, this workshop replaces metal with tetrapack! Using the small and accessible 3D-printed presses made by Open Press, get a short intro into the world of intaglio printmaking and make a short series of prints using these tiny little presses! Please note that this class will be using Akua ink, made of soy.
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and love for art!

You will be creating and designing your own image or message to print in multiples on fun paper. Don't forget to wear your shoes - no one likes to step on a Lego play brick!
